Lavandula hybrida, commonly known as Lavandin, is a hybrid species of lavender, typically a cross between Lavandula angustifolia (English lavender) and Lavandula latifolia (spiked lavender). It is native to the Mediterranean region. Lavandin is also prized in the perfume industry for its strong aroma. Our lavender flowers can be used for decorative purposes and in perfumery. Lavender flowers are inedible. The aroma of Lavandula hybrida is stronger and it combines a floral lavender fragrance with hints of woodiness.
