Eleutherococcus senticosus, commonly known as Siberian ginseng or eleuthero, is a woody shrub native to Russia, China, Korea, and parts of Japan, this plant has a long history of use in traditional medicine, particularly in Eastern cultures. Despite its name, it is not a true ginseng but is often referred to as such due to its similar adaptogenic properties. It is commonly consumed in the form of powder, or teas. Siberian ginseng has a mild, slightly earthy flavour that can be somewhat bitter. The taste is not as strong or pungent, but it still carries a natural, herbaceous quality.
