Rubus fruticosus L., commonly known as the European blackberry or bramble, is a perennial, deciduous shrub native to Europe but widely naturalized in other regions including North America, Australia, and New Zealand. It belongs to the Rosaceae family and is renowned for its thorny stems.
Blackberry root tea has a slightly bitter taste and is usually consumed warm.

Reduce the heat and allow the root to simmer gently for about 10-15 minutes. The longer you steep it, the stronger the tea will be. You can adjust the time based on your taste preference. After simmering, strain the tea to remove the root pieces if you didn’t use an infuser. If desired, you can add honey, lemon, or ginger to enhance the flavour and provide extra soothing benefits.
