French Green Clay

Description

Latin Name: Montmorillonite

French Green Clay is best for oily skin types, skin with pores that tend to clog easily, and acneic skin. The oil-absorbing properties of this type of clay may be too strong or astringent for those with dry or sensitive skin.

French green clay has been reported to:

• Absorb oil/remove impurities.
• Smooth skin.
• Deliver nourishing minerals to skin.
• Increase circulation.
• Tighten pores.
• Calm skin inflammation.

It is applied in the form of a mask, once ot two times a week. Place 1 tablespoon of green clay in a small clean pan and add a little water until it becomes a paste. Mix well and apply on face or body. Leave on for 15-20 minutes and rinse with plenty of warm water. Then apply your moisturizer. For best results you can enrich the mask with flower water, oils or essential oils.
